Guys,
As everyone described….it was one of the most exciting matches we have ever witnessed. I related this match to India vs England at lords July 13 th 2002. When Kaif (Riaz) and Yuvraj(Arun) chased that 325 and at one stage India were 125/5 and as we all know Braves were also struggling at 65/5. Abhi played sehwag's role of giving us initiative earlier…
I was lucky to witness this match on Saturday….and these Brave men were amazing…. We all must learn from this innings that MATCH IS NOT OVER UNTIL FINAL BALL and WE SHOULDN'T GIVE UP...
I SALUTE OUR GREAT HEROES RIAZ AND ARUN....

[njitbraves] RIAZ BREAKS INTO BRAVES HISTORY WITH 68 NOTOUT
To all Braves and its followers,
Guys history was made today as braves had one of its best win in 2 years history in MCL, i am sure all who were there in the ground would agree with me.
Here are few highlights of todays game.
Gladatiors won the toss and decided to bat and put up 215 in 40 overs. Braves were chasing 216 in a crucial game which we had to win to stay in playoff race.
Braves were 95/6 if i am not wrong in the 26 or 27 over, needing 10 to 13 runs each over in the last 15 overs.
With 6 wickets down and more then 115 to win Gladatiors were smelling victiory, Little did they knw Braves had the the like of Arun, Divyesh, Mathew and ketan waiting
in the wings to Explode, but we didnt have to go to them.
Arun joined our new Talent Yes Riaz it is, for 100+ run patrenship for 6th wicket to take braves to victory.
Riaz who took his time in the begining to take singles and roated strike with arun expoloded at the end with atlest 2 to 3 mighty sixes in a huge field where boundary and sixes were very rare.
Other notable perfromence was by ronak (13) if i not wrong, Abhi (32) who fought hard with his cramp kept things moving in intial overs and then Arun (42 not out) and Riaz (68 not out) took Braves to one of its most memoriable win.
Hats of to these guys!!!!!
Speaking of history, going back to Gladiotors inings anothet brave created history, could be Mcl history to .... first bowler to break wicket into 2 pieces, yes yu guessed it right none other Mathew had the wicket of their top bastmen Neal chowski out of the ground in 2 pieces
Guys at the end of day nothing stands even close to wht Riaz and Arun did..... Keep up the good stuff , would love to see many more inings like this.

Well Its of the Bravest Performance by Arun and RIaz Batting Under tough condition chasing 10-12 runs per over and Abhi played Superb ABHI STAY FOCUS I AM SURE U WILL score LIKE THIS EVERY INNINGS.
I was Leg-Umpire for that period and the shots Played by RIaz and Arun were AMazing
I have never seen any 1 played so Cool and calmly and so confident. Riaz told me that he will finish the match with sixes and he did.

V/S SPCC 12th May 2007 :
what a effort by braves today. Awesome performances in batting by Charanjeet (53), Debdip (90), Arun (26) and Rutul(28). Our guys are leading the league in runs so far. This is amazing and was a treat to watch these guys bat today. 270 is the highest score made in the league so far and simply too good.
Coming to our bowling,
After weathering the early storm, we came back so well with Ketan doing his magic by picking up first 3 wickets of the game and then gr8 effort once again by Charanjeet (3wkts)in bowling and Maninder wrapping it up for us by taking the last wicket. Not to forget jijaji taking 2 wonderful catches.
Charanjeet is the only person in Top allrounder column. it is such a proud feeling our guys leading the league this yr.
Go braves and lets continue the winning ways.

We continue our Parampara of winning the first game of the season....
Braves defeated Jaquars in their Season Opener...!
Braves-123/10 - 31 overs
Jaquars- 68/10 -23 overs
It was Team effort... lets start from the start...
Abhishek as usual gave great start scoring 22 on such tough pitch.... then every1 contributed lil bit...
Charanjeet scored 16 and took score to 90 something then came Amit waugh T (22) and Ketan waugh (7) ..took us to respectable score of 123...
Then demolition began... 14 for 5 ..hahah.... Arun took wicket in his first over...Good catching , great fielding and superb bowling gave us the victory...
Turning point of the MAtch...Amit's smart thinking ....Ginnie was brought back into attack and took the ripper.... Ginnie(charanjeet) bowled Mustafa ...(u better Watch out for this rookie, sahi hai ginnie bhai)
Debdip took great catch of Saksheee...
Overall Great effort, smart cricket and Superb captaincy from Braves...!
